During my time at the University of Nebraska, I was given a group project where we created a clothing line. We were allowed to choose what type of merchandise to sell and what the theme of it was. Well, the assignment was introduced to us the first day Coachella was happening. So, we had that idea aspect in mind. However, we felt like that theme was very overdone so we took a new approach. We decided on a swimsuit line but keep that California feel to it. What we had in mind exactly was the Santa Monica pier and classic video games. Since this was a group project we were all assigned different tasks. I was in charge of creating the mood board, and three of the five outfit flats. The flats I created were the ones with all the prints on them. These include the Pacman kimono, pineapple dress, and pineapple swimsuit flats.
